A type 5 box was built here in about 1894, replacing the previous box. The frame was replaced in June 1914 with a 3bar VT frame of 36 lev ers. Closure of the Falmouth branch was being considered in combination with closure of Truro West and Penwithers Junction boxes, but closure of the branch did not, in fact, take place. The box diagram and corresponding locking table show the position at this time. The diagram is traced from an office copy dated January 1957 held by Kidderminster Railway Muuseum. The box diagrams is reproduced by their kind permission.",
