2008 Spring ‘Reminiscences of NYMR railway cottages’ by Maurice Baker (following on from Graham Reussner’s article in Moors Line Winter 2007/8 (No 157) - see Recent Articles, May 2008 - this article recalls life in the cottages at Farwath and Fen Bog, together with details of other cottages between Rillington Junction and Whitby; 5 b&w photos).

2007 Winter ‘Railway cottages on the Whitby branch - Pt1: Background’ by Graham Reussner (introduction to the railway built and owned lineside cottages from Rillington Junction to Whitby Town (in 1875 the NER recorded no less than 96 separate dwellings on this section), detailing those built for the Whitby & Pickering and York & North Midland Railways.
