Signalling Record Society

Research Notes

As the name implies, these are notes which set out the state of the contributor's research on a particular topic at the present time. They may be no more than a list of, or index to, items of information thought to be useful to other members; perhaps dates, places or document references. They can be regularly updated and may be in manuscript form.

Please note that these notes are only copied / produced on receipt of an order and you should allow 3 weeks for delivery.

43 D C Allen's Notebook on DVD-rom.
In the notebook D C Allen drew the track layouts of the Eastern section of British Railways Southern Region, most with signals shown and mostly numbered. The extent of coverage is the Eastern section as it stood in about 1955 which also the approximate date of the diagrams. The Kent & East Sussex Railway is included and the PDF file is bookmarked.
