Signalling Record Society

FARSAP logo  Grosmont

Two videos from the same location! Firstly a look at Grosmont as it was between 1996 when the North Yorkshire Moors Railway opened its signal box by the level crossing and 2014.

The second video describes the work involved in altering the connections to Network Rail at the north end of the station to allow fully signalled moves in each direction and improved running arrangements to Whitby.

The geographic location of the station area can be seen on a current OS Map. The map will place this location at the centre of the map panel, roll the mouse over the icon(s) to reveal what they represent. Increase the scale using the scale selector on the left to separate closely positioned icons.
