The seventeenth volume of John Swift’s layout plans of the 1950s returns to the Midland Railway lines in the northern extremities of Derbyshire and follows them into Yorkshire.
From Chesterfield we initially head eastward to Clown and Glapwell before resuming a northward direction via both Sheffield and Treeton to Barnsley, Dewsbury, Altofts and Ferrybridge.
If you are not sure whether the location that interests you is in this volume or a different one, a combined index of all the locations in the series can be downloaded from our main web site entirely free of charge.
This is an A4 card covered book with, generally, more than 1 diagram per page.
