Tappet Locking

A V Morton, Signalling Engineer of the London Midland & Scottish Railway at Crewe once described tappet locking as something simple but as annoying as a crossword puzzle to work out. In this video Charles Weightman explains with the aid of a wooden demonstration unit, just how the mixture of locks and releases works to enforce safe working of traffic.
