Contents of this CD - Sections E & F

The SRS Drawing Office collection of signal box diagrams has been built up over many years and constitutes hand-drawn sketches of the layout controlled by a signal box, with signals and connections numbered. It contains the information that would be included on the signal box diagram displayed in the box. The collection is being digitised and published on CD-ROM in the format presented here. Additional information, such as amendment state, locking table etc., is being added where available.

Diagrams and documentation for 364 boxes from Sections E (Exeter Division) and F (Plymouth Division) of the Great Western Signal box register, as well as LSWR and SDJR boxes in the same geographical area from Sections M4 & Q of the Southern Railway Signal box register, are included on this CD (439 diagrams in all plus 7 hand-drawn sketches) occupying most of the capacity of the CD.

Note: Section M3 (LSWR, Worting Junction to Salisbury) is included on both the 'Sections M N & R' CD and the 'Sections P & S CD' (to be published 2011).
Section M4 (LSWR, Exeter to Salisbury) is included on this CD and the section from Yeovil to Salisbury plus the whole of the SDJR is included on the 'Sections P & S CD' (to be published 2011).
