A Midland Railway type 4D box was provided here. The diagram shown above shows how the information was presented to the signalman. Rationalis ation has started in October 1967 - the lines from Churchdown were reduced to two tracks and Engine Shed Junction relayed. Many signals were controlled by more than one box via mechanical slotting.
